I still have so many deviations to catch up on seeing and commenting on, but I'm working on it slowly but surely. Just wanted to post a journal to get rid of the old one, and to show that I'm (mostly) alive.

A few weeks ago I went through the gut-wrenching process of applying for post-secondary, portfolio submission and all. Gut-wrenching because I was so goddamn nervous about getting in and whether my portfolio was strong enough.

Last Friday I picked up my portfolio from the school after 2 very, very long weeks of waiting finally to hear my fate-- and I was very happy to find out that I've been recommended for acceptance into the Grant MacEwan fine arts program. When I got home I was still flying.

Such relief to finally be accepted and to finally be going to art school. I start in September! And I'm oh so excited. But at the same time, so very nervous.

Just thought I'd share my good news. Anybody else got some to share? Bad news will do too.
